We begin with Direct Trade Cacao, grown and farmed ethically and sustainably. Next, we pair the quality couverture with the freshest local ingredients available to enhance the unique flavours of each chocolate. By drawing heavily on the inspiration from international travels, Compass Chocolates brings creativity and passion into each unique, artisanal product. Compass Chocolates, proudly woman owned and operated, was founded in 2020 by Priya Winsor, a certified Chocolatier and diplomaed Pastry Chef. Priya serves as a judge for Provincial Skills. She is a member of the Provincial Apprenticeship Committee and Provincial Technical Committee, with the goal of maintaining high standards in the trades for generations to come.
When Priya is not making delicious chocolates and confections, she and her family love to paint, hike, garden and travel the world. She uses these experiences with art, nature and culture to inspire her designs and flavours.
