Sugar Plum

What is a sugar plum anyways? 

The origin of this sweet treat dates back to the 1600’s, when plums from the Elvas region of Alentejo, Portugal, were harvested, cooked, and soaked in sugar syrup for several months before being washed and sun dried.

Our version is made of spiced milk chocolate and dried fruit. 

This reference found in Charles Dickens’ holiday classic “A Christmas Carol “ draws us into the seasonal nostalgia of visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads.
